Graph 1 shows that during the 12 month period from January to December 2005 the weight of inorganic material dropped off by the public at Trash Palace nearly tripled and the weight collected nearly doubled. 620 tonnes of material was diverted from landfill over this period and 26% of refuse was landfilled.

Graph 2 shows that the sales revenue at Trash Palace is steadily increasing each year and revenue in 2005 was 52% higher than 2004. This was particularly evident over the traditionally slow winter months when July had a 117% increase in sales.

Graph 3 shows a breakdown in the type of goods sold at Trash palace. The most popular category is bric-a-brac at 34%, scrap metal 29% followed by furniture sales at 18%.
