By choosing to insulate your floor using Poly Palace insulation, you not only keep the warmth in and the climate out of your home, you also divert waste polystyrene out of our landfills and help the environment.
Palace planks are made to insulate your wooden floor by fitting between your floor joists. Made from recycled flame retardant polystyrene, they are up to 50% thicker than commercial profiles, resulting in an increased insulation efficiency for your homes and buildings. At a cost of $9/sqm incl. GST, Palace planks can be retrofitted to existing floors or fitted to new floors.
"We were sleeping under a duvet and with the installation of Palace Planks we changed to a cotton blanket overnight..." Louise Murray & Terry Bourke, Miramar

Palace pods for new concrete floors are quick to construct, strong, don’t crack or subside and are 100% guaranteed. The concrete floor absorbs the daytime heat and releases it back into your home in the evening as it cools.
"We think your technology is far and above the best process for recycling polystyrene we have seen to date..." G. Gillespie, Zero Waste Australia
Waste polystyrene is a big problem when it is landfilled because it takes up a lot of space, weighs very little and takes a long time to break down. Waste polystyrene is far better locked up in housing insulation, resulting in better health and living standards. Not only that, the recovery and recycling of polystyrene into floor insulation at Poly Palace creates real employment and community development opportunities from waste.
