Sustainable Living Workshops

A series of ‘Sustainable Living’ Workshops are run at the Trash Palace Education Centre every year.  Topics covered include:

• Sustainable Building Materials and Techniques (Alex Grieg – Building Biology and Ecology Institute NZ)


• Worm Farming (Dan Jones – Organics Educator and Worm Specialist)
  
• Healthy and Safe Food on a Budget (Alison White – Food Safety Researcher and Author)


• Organic Gardening (Sally Bowman – Environmental Educator and Organic Gardener)


• Introduction to Permaculture (Sonia Moore – Permaculture NZ)


• Children’s Recycled Arts and Crafts (Bianca Begovich – Environmental Educator)


• Waste Reduction at Home (Shaun Lewis – Ministry for the Environment)


• Recycled Knitting and Rag-Rug Making (Bronwyn Griffiths and Billee Mutton   –   Textile Artists)
